You will find many dances and concerts if you are looking for Reggae in Berlin. Some involve soundsystems, some are very low key and take place in former squats and small bars. As we are mostly interested in the sound of young Jamaica we focus on events where you can hear Ska, Rocksteady, Early Reggae and Roots from vinyl with our recommendations.
31.8.2024 – Reggae Rumble
While taking the tropy home, the winner of the Vintage Jamaican Music Soundclash will not get a chance to play many tunes on Friday night, personal favourites and the sweet and cheerful tunes will most likely stay locked away in the box. Time to unpack them for a quality allnighter on this second night of the weekend. With three musical heavyweights competing and the Maratone crew on service you can be sure this will be another night of great entertainment, good vibes and the best sound around.
